Around the Bay Giveaway Terms and Conditions

The Promoter is: Bicycle Network, ARBN 054 009871, AR 1284571. The above-mentioned company will be hereafter referred to as the ‘Promoter.’

‍The product issuer for bicycle insurance products is The Hollard Insurance Company Pty Ltd ABN 78 090 584 473,AFSL 241436 (Hollard). BIKEINSURE is a brand of TwoThreeBird AU Pty Ltd ABN 81151 706 697, AFSL 554438 (TwoThreeBird) and is promoted by Bicycle Network Incorporated ABN 41 026 835 903. Bicycle Network (AR No. 1284571) is TwoThreeBird's authorised representative. TwoThreeBird distributes this insurance as an agent of Hollard, the insurer.
The exact Prize is: One (1) Giant Defy Advanced 1 in colour Obsidian Pulse in the size of the winners choosing. Total current Prize value: $4,999.00 AUD (RRP). The Promoter has no control over the exact monetary value of the Prize and does not warrant that the reflected value is accurate.
Employees of the Promoter, their family members, or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.
Opening date for entry will be at 08:00am AEST on Thursday 10 September 2026.
Closing date for entry will be at 11:59pm AEST on Saturday 17 October 2026. After this date and time, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
To enter the competition, an entrant must calculate a quote for Bikeinsure bicycle insurance through the provided www.bikeinsure.com.au/promo/around-the-bay-2026 website. Entrants who have also registered to participate in United Energy Around the Bay 2026 will receive one additional entry into the competition, for a total of two entries. Registration for United Energy Around the Bay 2026 alone does not constitute entry into the competition., entrants will still need to calculate a quote to enter the draw.
Entry is open to participants over the age of 18yrs old with a permanent residential and delivery address within the state ofVictoria, Australia.
A maximum of two(2) entries per eligible entrant is permitted — one (1) entry per category. Category 1 is entry by completing a quote; Category 2 is entry by registering for United Energy Around the Bay 2026. All entries received will be considered final by the Promoter. Entries which are incomplete, inaccurate, erroneous, illegible, inappropriate, offensive or incomprehensible, or which infringe intellectual property rights, will be deemed invalid.
The use of Bikeinsure and/or www.bikeinsure.com.au and/or www.bikeinsure.com.au/promo/around-the-bay-2026 is solely at the entrants’ own risk.
Entry into the competition draw is free. This does not include the cost of registering for United Energy Around the Bay 2026, which remains payable separately.
Neither the Promoter or any affiliated party accepts any responsibility for entries not received for whatever reason.
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and or these terms and conditions without prior notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.
The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
If the Prize Winner does not accept the Prize or any element of the Prize, the Promoter is not obliged to provide the Prize Winner with a substitute Prize.
No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable and non-exchangeable. Prizes are subject to availability, and the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value in consultation with the winner subject to availability.
The Prize Winner will be drawn at random at the Bicycle Network office on the 19th of October 2026 and informed that day using the contact information provided by the Prize Winner. The name and image of the Prize Winner will be published on the Bicycle Network Facebook- and Instagram pages for promotional purposes and Bicycle Network reserves the right to use these images for any future marketing and/or promotional purposes.
If the winner cannot be contacted with reasonable efforts or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification,the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and draw a replacement winner.
The Promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected (nearest Giant Dealership). Any damage which occurs in transit will not be covered, reimbursed or a replacement offered.
The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her acceptance and agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Australian data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
The Promoter will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize.
