Around the Bay Giveaway Terms and Conditions

The Promoter is: Bicycle Network, ARBN 054 009 871, AR 128457.
The above-mentioned company will be hereafter referred to as the ‘Promoter.’
The exact Prize is:One (1) BMC Roadmachine X TWO Gravel Bike Yellow Size 54cm. Total current Prize value: $6.599.00 AUD. The Promoter has no control over the exact monetary value of the Prize and does not warrant that the reflected value is accurate.
Employees of the Promoter, their family members, or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.
Opening date for entry will be at 08:00am AEST on Monday 5 August 2024.
Closing date for entry will be at 14:00pm AEST on Sunday 6 October 2024. After this date and time, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
To enter the competition, an entrant must calculate a quote for Bikeinsure bicycle insurance through the provided www.bikeinsure/aroundthebay website.
Entry is open to participants of the 2024 United Energy Around the Bay, including the 300km, The Classic, 135km, 100km, 50km, and Family Ride events, who are residents of Australia aged 18 years or older, and who enter the promotion in the required manner as stated in these terms and conditions ("Eligible Entrants").
Maximum one (1) entry per Eligible Entrant. Entries received will be considered final by the Promoters. Entries which are incomplete, inaccurate, erroneous, illegible, inappropriate, offensive or incomprehensible or which infringe intellectual property rights will be deemed invalid.
The use of Bikeinsure and/or www.bikeinsure.com.au and/or www.bikeinsure/aroundthebay is solely at the entrants’ own risk.
Entry into the competition is free.
Neither the Promoter or any affiliated party accepts any responsibility for entries not received for whatever reason.
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and or these terms and conditions without prior notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.
The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
If the Prize Winner does not accept the Prize or any element of the Prize, the Promoter is not obliged to provide the Prize Winner with a substitute Prize.
No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable and non-exchangeable. Prizes are subject to availability and the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without notice.
The Prize Winner will be drawn at random at the 2024 United Energy Around the Bay Event Village at 3pm on Sunday 6 October 2024. The name and image of the Prize Winner will be published on the Bicycle Network Facebook- and Instagram pages for promotional purposes.
If the winner isn’t present at the time of the draw, they will also be notified by email within 14 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and draw a replacement winner.
The Promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected. The Prize does not include delivery and any cost that the winner chooses to incur in this reward will be for his/her own account.
The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her acceptance and agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Australian data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
The Promoter will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize.
